National Assistant Director
 
 
Nicki Ledesma is a proud mother to 3 wonderful kids, Jessica (21), Trey (13), and Dustin (11).  She is “NicNic” to 2 handsome grandsons and 1 beautiful granddaughter.  She was born, raised, and still resides in Knox City, Tx.  She is an active member of the O’Brien Baptist Church.  
 Ms. Nicki enjoys spending her time working on various projects for America’s Girl.  She finds it incredibly fulfilling to assist in the day to day happenings of the AG National Office.  It is her mission to work along with Mrs. Misty to continue to bring AG to the forefront of the pageant world.  
 Nicki is very involved in the various activities that her children participate in.   Most days of the week you can find her sitting on the sidelines at sporting events cheering on her sons.  Various practices and games during football, basketball, track, and baseball seasons keep her and her boys on the go!
Nicki began her pageant life when she was entered into the local “Miss Merry Christmas” pageant.  She participated in the yearly pageant from the ages of 6 to 14, placing in the top 3 each year.  Being a singer, she has also participated in numerous talent competitions throughout the years bringing home several talent competition wins. She continues to sing locally and state wide as a freelance vocalist, singing at festivals, weddings, funerals, parties, and pageants. She sings at church both as a soloist and a member of the praise and worship team.
During her Jr. High and High School years, Nicki was an active member of the concert and marching band, where she played flute, piccolo, oboe, french horn and trumpet.  She was a twirler her Freshman year and Assistant Drum Major her Junior and Senior years.  She participated in the U.I.L Vocal and Ensemble Contest as a soloist for 2 years, receiving 1 gold and 1 silver medal.  Nicki was active in both FFA and FHA.  She served as FFA reporter for 2 years and FHA VP of Recreation for 2 years.  She was also selected to represent the FHA district as a delegate at the State FHA Convention in Fort Worth, Tx.  She competed as a member of the FFA Livestock Judging team her Senior year. The team attended the State Judging competition where they placed 7 in the State.  Her Sophomore and Junior years, Nicki was on the Annual staff where she served as both a photographer and page designer. Her Senior year she served on the Annual Staff as Chief Editor. 
After High School, Nicki received a Vocal Performance scholarship to attend West Texas A&M in Canyon, TX.  She studied both Vocal Performance and Criminal Justice for 4 semesters before moving back home to help family.  She began working for Knox County soon after moving back home. Nicki worked for the Knox County Sheriff’s Department for 4 years as a Jailer and Law Enforcement dispatcher.  After an extended “break” from working to be a stay at home mother, she returned to the Knox County Sheriff’s Department as the Jail Administrator/Chief of Dispatch for 4 years.  She is currently the Director for the Knox County 9-1-1 Central Dispatch Office.  The last few years, Nicki has been working toward finishing her degree in Forensic Psychology by taking online college courses.  She also has taken classes in photography, graphics design, and website design.
